Items are being held hostage until their demands are met.
The not to exceed price of 3300 is somehow not so....they are asking for 1650 for packing supplies.
The problem with this is they used the material to do the packing of the items and accounted for it in their original quote.
So far they have -
Asked if they could come one day early....showed up 2 hours late....one out of the three men slept. No one was in charge of packing the truck properly to insure proper distribution and handling of the items. They promised wardrobe boxes and showed up with dish boxes.
Sister, husband and I had to pack, wrap, and load stuff and still they threatened to leave stuff behind. Husband finally jumped into the back of the truck and reloaded the itmes so that all of it would fit.
They estimated our stuff would be 9000lbs and the total weight came in at 8500lbs. Not to mention they had a complete list of every item on the estimate.
They didn't wrap things properly, mattresses, box springs, furniture....we have no clue what the damage of these items will be when they are finally delivered to us....assuming they deliver the items....
We came in under their estimate in weight and did all the back breaking work for them and it still took us till 10pm to finish. If we hadn't helped they would have left and not finished the work.
