I used this company a month ago for my long distance move from westchester to California. I was moving for the fifth time between westchester and california since 1996. After my first three experiences, if I could've moved myself I would have.. but its too troublesome. After the third experience I stopped caring, expected broken packages, lost items, extra charges etc. I can't tell you how many of my items were broken by other companies since my first move; there's a company still looking for my antique carpet since 2008! I began to purchase additional insurance since ALL of my moves were long distance; soon enough I just insured my items with my home owners insurance. I started transporting certain pieces on the plane with me in fear that I'll never see them again if I sent them with the rest of my belongings (it's really hard when something is lost or broken that has been in the family for generations) it's safe to say I didn't trust any company. I wasn't a big fan of reviews (since they didn't help me much with my past choices) but that all changed this moment, because I am here typing this review. This company deserves to be acclaimed. I, out of many others should know how difficult, stressful and tedious one simple move can become. Filing claims, long waits to speak with managers that can't help, the list goes on and on.
I honestly have to say, this all changed when I moved with president moving. I know, I know...this sounds a little eccentric; but I have been through some TRUE moving horror stories - more than once, twice, more than three times!! It took me 5 moves, a lost carpet, a lost vase, boxes of irreplaceable moments/items - lost (photos etc.), damaged expensive furniture, staying in hotels because no one can get back to me to tell when my items will arrive because I have an unfurnished house, lies and again the list goes on and on; to find a moving company that blew me away and provided the services promised.
I couldn't be happier with these movers, nothing was broken, nothing was damaged I WAS NOT OVER CHARGED. I hired them in good faith since the sales rep and the representative they sent to my house were kind, polite and what seemed to be genuine but due to my experience I always had that doubt in the back of my mind. I can honestly say they've removed that doubt from my mind. They have my business, my family's business and my friends business because they've been and will continue to be recommended by me, when anyone needs moving services. I am extremely pleased with the entire shebang! Most importantly my items arrived on time and I didn't have to stay in a hotel for an additional 6 days as its happened to me before. This company comes from me highly recommended. Great job!
