| Worst Movers ever donot use them again |
| First of all the Sales guy(Aerick) will promise you all the things in the world, He will tell you they will do pack it carefully and will give you a dirt cheap price.I had used http://movers.com and these guys found me there, I did not depend on their packing and did my own packing, The guy walks in(Josh), repacks my Sofas and TV- and says they have quoted for 15 small boxes, which is a big LIE. I had a few more moving companies come in and quote the price, their price was right coz I ended up paying the same anyways. So They charged me a whopping extra $950, OK , Before I can recover from this blow, after they pick my shipment I call them to find out the status of my Shipment after a week, I am surprised to find that The shipment has not moved at all , Until I called , I didnot know that you have to fill in a delivery request form for them to start moving,and they bluntly say Just read the Contract, The contract is atleast 15 pagesI had written an expected Delivery date, I am told by the dispatch department(Erick) of the company that no one can ever guarantee the Delivery date and the date you mention is for them to start/plan the move, that means, if you had put a date of 25th June, They would start shipping on the 25th, what a weird thing in the world is that.and it would arrive only 7-14 days after that. That is my friends called CHEATING the CUSTOMER. My nature of job I keep moving every year, and I can tell you NEVER AGiAN. I was so meticulous in my list of inventory, that I even gave them details of a trash can!!! Overall , Horrible experience, the sales guy who spoke with you earlier is gone and you will never hear his voice back, No reply to emails, Different departments tell you different statuses of your shipment. Highly Unprofessional people, WAIT, The worst is yet to be seen - Finally the truck guy(Name of the Driver - JOE) arrives After a long three weeks, (Apparently they start on the date you set as Expected Delivery date) - So I show him the house, It was located on the Second floor, had a elevator from the garage, The driver expectedly tells me that I have to pay $75 as it is more than 75 feet of walking distance- So he comes upstairs to the house along with me and says in spite of the elevator I have to pay 50 bucks as it is on the second floor, while it is clearly written in the contract that One flight of stairs free and $ 50 per stairs, I resented and he threatened me that he will leave everything by the elevator and I have to do the rest, I even have pictures of the furniture he left by the garage!!! Later without any other option I had to pay him, He gave a sarcastic smile and took everything by the elevator and dropped everything home, he threw a Computer desk which broke into two, and later when I asked him if he can arrange the furniture , He tells me he doesn't set cheap furniture, I literally almost begged him, he said " I am telling you for the third time I will not set the furniture, you need to do it yourself " and thats it he left, I spent the whole Saturday and Sunday setting my furniture, So I spend so much - Give him extra $125($75 for the walk and $50 for the Stairs) and do all the work myself, NEVER AGAIN will I use this cheapos again. The cheap movers who you see on Craigslist will do a much better job for you guys.Zero Stars |
